Data security

As our client you obviously do not want confidential company data on transferred ICT equipment to become public. SiSo removes all data and software on all collected computers. This removal process is carried out using certified software, which overwrites the computer’s hard drives a number of times with random data.

If possible, we also remove all identifying marks on ICT equipment. By doing so, the hardware will no longer be identifiable as belonging to our client. During this process the hard drives are not damaged.

For example, by carefully applying these services SiSo has been a trusted partner for many years for large banks and insurance companies. We meticulously remove confidential data on depreciated ICT hardware and record this in a clear Asset Report. SiSo gives solid guarantees that company data has actually been removed.

The hard drives of functioning equipment will be handled in such a way, that any information present can never be reproduced. SiSo will confirm this by means of an official confidentiality/warranty statement.

This method of data removal complies with the most stringent standards of the American Defense department and NATO.
